I agree with most of the replies, to me the Kemper almost amplifies the differences between my guitars/pickups.

Can I then slightly derail at this point to ask what pups you guys favor:

EMG 81-8/85I love lace and lundgren a lot!

I have been suprised at how the Kemper does show wider variations than a regular amp so like most of the comments, I've found the opposite but definatley the differences reduce at higher gain...the only thing I have realised is that a guitar cab does go some way to "leveling" the sound between the guitars. Is this a factor for you?
What is your signal chain?
Oh and I like BareKnuckle pickups....
