Yep, it seems you have to take it out anyway.

you can get a network cable with a 90 degree end and that looks like that would work. I use one with my remote

Nice idea, but you'll give up the Neutrik Ethercon plug.

The cable plugs into the remote without a problem.

I would agree with you If there was an ethercon connection on the KPA... But the 90 deg doesn't stick out very far and I'm not having any issue and I do have problems with the locking on the KPA

Well, IME the Remote is more at risk of shocks and bumps and... kicks. I like that the connection has got a Neutrik shell.
What digitalflip has posted would definitely make me feel better

I agree . It would be great if it was available for a Ethernet cable

Can't you disassemble it and reassemble around an RJ45?

Theoretically, yes. You're not going to get an RJ45 through the boot. You could always take that off though. There's a chance it wouldn't fit in that enclosure, but you can make anything work with a little superglue and duct tape.

There are Neutrik shells made to be assembled around an RJ45, but those I am aware of are all straight. A piped one would be great for a piped Ethernet cable
