I'd like to have a better performance management. I'm mainly using PM song- based.
Sometimes I want to try different profiles or FX combinations (i.e. different rigs) for a given song (that has already the tempo defined etc.)
Instead of destroying the performance or build one from scratch I'd like to copy and modify it (same as 'store as') in browse mode.
This would be very convenient for me.
Copy performances

In Performance Mode, go to "Arrange Perf.s". Select your performance, press [COPY], select a different performance location, press [PASTE].
Does this help? -

I didn't know this. Superb! -
Me neither thanks Timo

But be careful, last week I wanted to paste a performance between two existing performances and deleted one of them. Don't know if I did something wrong?

You can't insert performances. You will overwrite an existing performance, either one of yours or a default performance.

That is what I learned last week the hard way
But I think it would be nice if you could insert a copy of a performance. -

I learned that the hard way, too.
Maybe THAT should be the Feature Request

You never stop learning!
Thanx -

That's a nice tip, TImo. Thanks!

Or simply press store, choose another performance number and store.
Same effect. -

Yep, you have to create a new performance, then you can rearrange them.
