Cr@p ! Have you tried the new profile ?
Welcome into the FW3.0
-
-
Too late now, will install FW 2.8 !
-
I guess you no longer need to wait, djemass. 3.0 isn't coming out today, unfortunately.
Probably notedit: oops!!! I read too fast

After some tests still in 2.7, the Harley Benton cab sounds harsh and lacks bollocks compared to the Recto cab. The AKG D5 is incredibly mellow and creamy. I posted some profiles and I get things very interesting, but I prefer at the end the recto cab+SM57 which is more agressive, but the tone has more width...

Cr@p ! Have you tried the new profile ?
Will be doing so, dje, and will let you know what I think
-
Redid a profiling sessions this morning and the tones are far far better. Wasn't used to the mic and cab. Now I have recovered agressivity tightness and width but not yet at the level of the recto and SM57...
-
Rah profites en donc pour nous faire des cleans , des crunchs et du santana si t'as le temps , avec cet AKG ça devrait être parfait ?
bon courage !
-
Ok guys, I erased the profiles of yesterday, they were pure sh*t... my ears were too tired...

Renaud, now that I know I CAN get the Djemass touch at home, I will begin to explore deeply the Beast in all the territories !
I think Choptones pack will be ridiculously small compared to mine lol
my amp is unique as it has a Mark4 boost, simul class and Hetfield mod which is basicly a modern mode in the power amp (rectifier ?)
cheers

As the SM57 and the Recto cab belong to one of my buddies who lives at 200km from home (200km is quite a lot in France ), I will sell my Harley Benton cab and will invest in a recto cab 2x12 and a SM57.
Damn, and I sold my mics and my Boogie cab 2 years ago when I purchased my Kemper amp !!!... hahaha, bravo CK, I will have to reinvest in traditional amp stuff, ...

I sold my Fathead II w/Lundahl and Chameleon 7602 after I was done profiling some amps. Just kept the TLM 103, SM57, SM58 for vocals and got a C1000S for Acoustic (it helps give some better thinness to the TLM)
But I should have kept the others for more profiling. Especially seeing how well MBritt uses the Fathead. Although I think he has stock, which I don't know if that sounds better for an Amp. I used mine more for Vocal/Acoustic Gtr and in the end didn't like it on either.

Recto cab at home, Sm57 arrives tomorrow...
Now today is a good day for DI profiling test !!
-
Love your 2C+ profiles.
Now playing your friend Thumas Mark III profiles, jummy -

Djmass, I have a Fathead mike I want you to have. I've send you an email on your "the Mark2C+profiled" website.

Thank you Tom

Hi guys, my amp broke down today. have to go to the repairman, once again
I think it is the Mesa syndrome : LDR...
-
Rahhhhh
-
j'ai la poisse...
-
The amp goes to the doctor next tuesday.
This would take 10 days before getting it. Anyway, next 2 weeks are kids holidays, so impossible to crank the amp at home...
The good news is that I will meet a buddy who is a great sound engineer in his own studio. He is intrigued by the Kemper and we will play a lot with various microphones, mic positioning for my MarkIIC+. A lot of good profiles coming I hope The idea is that improve my profiling skills, note everything for my upcoming home studio with isolated room+control room !!Of course Tom, the Fathead will be used -
Hope to see your IIC+ back on it's feet.
Enjoy the time with your kids!
