Impressive. Great singing and playing. What an example of a simple clean tone that is very difficult to find anyone who can nail it - you sure do come close and I think a big part of it is excellent touch in playing! Nice work.

I forgot to mention I used the Two Rock Classic Rev St profile by LukeII on the Rig Exchange (slightly tweaked) for both rhythm and solo tracks. Very sweet, very playable rig. For even more Knopfler authenticity I may eventually go in for the Vintage & Rare pack from The Amp Factory just to get that Brownface profile (the rest sounds amazing too of course) -- once I've emotionally absorbed the cost of ordering the Kemper Remote, that is. 
Oh yes, and just for the record, I made a new version with some very subtle tweaks to the sound (a little less reverb on the drums and less chorus on the vocals):

Thanks man. Yeah, that Two Rock profile is a good place to start for the Knopfler sound. I think there's two of them in the Rig Exchange, one with a touch more gain ("Two Rock Classic Rev St +"). I don't really remember how much I tweaked them, but both are great with a compressor stomp and the compression parameter in the amp section turned up.

That was me So here's the story... I read some your recent comment (because your name appeared in recent activity panel), than I looked at your signature and had a laugh about "I kemper the user" - it always makes me smile. But to the point...
Then I was browsing "Link your music" and though "OK, let's sort by Author's name... ain't gonna find myself there anyway, I never posted there".
So after I sorted I switched to "R" and found your thread titled "I just can't seem to leave this song alone", this caught my attention... and voila!
