I have a question about "LFC off" on page 11 of the system. I don't know if this button should be enabled or disabled to provide the Low Frequency Correction..
Sorry! I suppose it has to be disabled....
I'm on it?

If it is enabled (ticked...is that the right word in english?) LFC is off.
From the 3.0 Reference Manual:
Low Frequency Correction
With the soft button labeled "LFC Off" the Low Frequency Correction could be switched off for test purposes. This correction is improving the authentity of the frequency range below 60 Hz impacting only those Profiles created under any firmware before revision 2.6. We recommend to leave this correction activated
so....to leave the correction activated.... "LFC off" may not be ticked.... right?
Unchecked = low frequency correction ON
Checked = LFC OFF
Its confusing due to the implied double negative. You have to turn ON the checkbox to turn OFF the feature.
With the box checked, the sound is the same as before the feature was added.

Right - you want LFC On.
So, do not check the box.

So for old profiles the LFC off should be checked? I think paults is saying the opposite? very confusing?
So for old profiles the LFC off should be checked?
No - LFC works ONLY for profiles created before v2.6 firmware.

Ok for new profiles the LFC off is checked and old profiles the LFC off is not checked Right? I want my old profiles to sound as it did before.
For old profiles, i like it unchecked, which is a change in tone from the prior FW. For new profiles, it shouldnt matter - as Paul said, it's baked in.
help! my old profiles have to much bass!
Then check LFC off. Or adjust your patches individually. I like the thicker bass, but yeah, you'll need to adjust if its too much. I would still keep LFC off unchecked and adjust patches. The low end isnt just increased with LFC. Its a different curve to the low end roll off. Id start by just adjusting bass downward and if you dont find your ideal sound, then i would check LFC off
It would be a good idea to tweak the Rigs to sound right to you, and save them in 3.x format. They have indicated the switch is only there on a temporary basis, and will be going away.
Ok! I did make my own profiles and want it to sound the same as my real amps, its much more bass now compared to my real amp. Guess I just have to make new profiles. But Thanks! meambobbo and paults.

I'm not sure if I get you right. Do you mean: Tweak all rigs with LCF on, then store them under 3.x and turn LCF off because it is then not needed anymore?
The checkbox will be going away - LFC is not going away. Tweak your old rigs with the box unchecked.
Thanks, paults.
You're welcome
Not the best way.
Do not keep LFC off highlighed.
Let me explain this switch:
We found a flaw in the profiling process that let the profiles have too much sub bass, compared to the original. Not a big issue but too significant to be ignored.
LFC corrects this flaw even for old profiles and brings the profile quality to the level of the todays profile process.
However, we claim not to change the original sound of a profile even with future firmwares. Concerning this low frequency issue, we felt that we have to break this rule for good reasons given by valid user complaints.
The LFC switch was created to allow a soft transition to the corrected sound. It gave the abilitiy to directly compare the old and new sound within the same firmware version. We have the impression that the change is widely accepted.
We will throw out the LFC setting out of the firmware one day, due to this reason.
