I posed about this in the Remote section. here is what I have discovered . This only happens when there is Reverb on. When you switch slots with reverb on you can hear the reverb mute for a bit,if there is delay on also, then it will mute the sound (after about 3 times loading it) To demonstrate this just have a slot with both active and (say in slot #3 for example) and tap the same slot button a few times and you will hear the sound mute. Must be a reverb loading issue.

Do you also get the mute when you switch between different slots?
-
Yes, that is how I first became aware of this. I was playing and switched slots and the sound dropped out for about 2 seconds. It happened a few more times, and that led me to start tracking it down. Reloading the same slot over and over was only for trouble shooting. It's for sure the Reverb bring to load and muting its wet sound as it does. Not a big deal by itself but when combined with a active delay,it will mute the dry also.

This is intended, and is not related to the latest software or the Remote.
It prevents overloads, when you browse rigs very fast. -
@ckemper, Thank you for your response, and what you say make perfect sense. However,I had the issue when not switching quickly, just "normal" i.e.
Playing a song, switching to a lead slot, playing the lead, switch back to the rhythm slot and (randomly) the sound would drop out. I have since wiped that performance, reloaded the firmware and recreated the performance. The dropout has not appeared again under "normal" switching. So who knows, could have just been weird ghost in the machine that has now gone away. Of course, the workaround is to turn the reverb off during a gig LOL
Thanks for your time! -
The reverb problem I get, not sure if this is intentional , but if I put the the Reverb off, , I get a loss of volume on my profile , which comes back to normal volume in about a second...

Reverb has a volume parameter. how is it set? -
I think it happens with any setting actually. I'll double check to make sure !
-
Well, if it "comes back to normal volume in about a second"...

... it can't be a reverb volume setting, right.
-
Any reverb setting I use , it does this all the time.. If my reverb is on, and I switch it off, I get a loss of volume , but the volume comes back to normal about 2seconds after.. Weird !!!

Here's a clip to demonstrate.... and the switching on and off is done directly via the reverb button on the KPA

Please make a backup of your Profiler and send it to [email protected].
We are interested to investigate this issue.
After you have saved the backup, try a system reset. -
ok will do !!!
-
Same here. had that trough all firmware´s. No prob if you change the profil from one with reverb to one without. only happens when i´m switching it on/off in the same profil. does it with all profils. can´t remember if i ever opened a ticket for that one though
system reset dos not help
-
How do I make a backup? Don't see it in the system menu !!!!
-
Put USB in slot, press soft button above external USB and press backup. It will then make a backup. Move USB to computer open backup folder copy that and then email that to support
-
Insert USB drive. External storage > Backup/Restore > Backup
-
Thanks! forgot about the external, was searching in system menu pages !!
-
Thanks for providing your backup.
This bug will be fixed in the next version.
The problem had to do with the volume pedal set to boost in the post effects location. -
Oh yeah ! I recently added that for solos instead of using a another slot of my effects for boost !!!
That was quick ! Glad you found it !
