Yeah yeah, I know, I wear my influences on my noodle titles sleeves.
Anyhow, this one is an experiment in pushing away from classically "good" and "articulate" tones to see what happens when I use a more extreme bassy sound (and whether a mix can still hold together with all that lower frequency mud). Kinda fun, I can see why jazz guitarists like a real rolled off tone though, it does seem to bring out more of the woody tone in there somehow, but I think would need to really tame the bass response before I'd go crazy on that.
There's a bass in there too adding a little upper frequency definition (you don't hear that sentence often), but you need to listen on monitors/through can's to hear it.
