add a few dBs and dial in the ducking. now when the notes start to fade out, the boost will come in slowly and compensate.
It is one of the parameters in the Pure Boost effect.
Ducking is a "one knob" parameter that is included in most (all?) effects. It very effectively adds touch sensitivity to the effect.
Ducking is a parameter in the Pure Boost stomp. It "ducks" the effect, ie. turns it down in relation to the dry signal, making the effect audible only when the dry signal fades out to a more or lesser degree, depending on the Ducking value.

Thanks Sam. Couldn't find it at first. It's not on the Pure Boost but on the Lead Booster. This is very cool.

I have no ducking.. The pure booster its not the same as raising the volume pot! it makes more than that, and can realy get life in dull sounding rigs! thats my experience.
I'll have to try out the amp compression. Never monkeyed with it any.
That's a fine list there indeed for cleans. I would recommend to check still this one factory profile 'London Trem Grit - R44' i.e. 65Amps London amp profile which is discussed here: http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…ed-65-amps-london-tremd/?
There are some nice tweak recommendation that could work well for the desired outcome. So put up some mild boost+comp+drive stomps before the profile (with ducking if desired) and tweak the amp compression as well. Also the Chieftain could be worth of try, I use these both (and also most you already listed above).

am I missing something? I do not have ducking parameter in pure boost but only in lead boost stomp.. does anybody have ducking really in pure boost?? thanks

They likely did that on purpose. Ducking on a post-amplifier boost would make the Boost function more like an auto swell pedal.

Interesting tip Don. I think I'll try it. Sounds like if used right it could give some good sustain without sounding like it is being compressed too much. Thanks!
Take a profile with the desired cleanness and dial in the amp compressor to about 3-4.
I don't understand this , if I push "amplifier"button ,the only thing I can adjust is the Volume, I don't see a Compressor setting.
