I'm using the Sinmix Engl Savage profile at the moment. Really good all round high gain profile and the cab mixes really well with other high gain profiles as well.

Premier Profiles are worth checking for sure! They have offered a few free ones to try as well.

Also Jevo recently offered all his profiles for free. Black Stymphalian and arthur d also have good ones

Sinmix is the current Master of Metal...but there are others around worth trying.

for modern metal go for SINMIX, his Producer bundle is a must have (IMHO) and for "other" metal it´s worth trying also Tim Owen´s profiles, it´s the epic study on FRIEDMAN
