hi my new KPA peeps! i just ordered my KPA rack from Sweetwater and it will be here on Wednesday. i have a gig this Saturday with a great funk/motown/dance band and need to get up and running as soon as possible. i will be using a Liquid Foot 12+ midi controller (with 2 expression pedals) with the KPA and was wondering if anyone had any advice as far as getting everything programmed as quickly as possible. here are a few things to consider
1. i really only need about 4 great sounding patches. a clean, compressed funk patch, a clean motown patch, a slightly overdriven clean sound, and an overdriven sound. the clean patches are much more important than the overdriven patches since i'm playing clean rhythm parts on 95% of the material
2. i will be running direct to the PA system and monitoring via IEM's (no FRFR monitors or amps will be used)
i'm also looking for any clean - semi overdriven patches that are essential to have. i've already downloaded the rig manager as well as the Morgan AC-20 profile that everybody raves about. i also plan on buying some of the Michael Britt profiles as well. please let me know if there are any others that i should buy
