Mmm, if this will work like a charm then ..
Profiling your profiler?!?

All I can tell you is that profiling a software/plugin of some sort won't be hindered by the unavoidable latency.
The Profiler compensates for that automagically.and, yes, if in doubt a second Profiler is always recommended.
back to OT:
the HM-2 might actually be one of those few pedals that is notoriously hard/not possible to profile satisfactorily. -
yes would go for a second Kemper haha but when I look at my budget.. I just got my new Kemper 3 weeks ago mister Do you think it would work with this way of theory we talked about, I actually don't want to profile the HM 2 only a few Daw Processing in the line with my actual EVH Profile or it's like Peto said, and it wouldn't worth even a try to get it done maybe, or even the Kemper Professionals aren't sure at this tricky thread?

The idea isn't exactly new. I think it came up quite early in the forum's history.
I don't know if it'll work at all or to which degree. -

How would I record the Kemper noise only actually?
-
Direct out - DAW

thx,
-
I agree with Peto - the alien noise length depends on the s/n ratio (or other factors):/
But there is a light of hope - but I have to try it first. -
I just had some trials and I get the Tone great but with a lot background noise, the Gate Can't make it away , should I lower the Return level Maybe when making the Noise recordings, tried it at -21dB Return level..
-
HM2 is a signal destroyer - it has a lot of background noises.
-
Oh no I didnt tried it with a HM2, just profile the profiler because I wanted to add Ozone Match EQ to my actual studio profile
-
Where was Ozone placed in the signal chain?
-
Too crazy, any tips for profile a second profiler, I think I will do that way now, are there already Threads about doing this?
My Profile I want to alter Is a simple 3.0 DI Amp Profile with cab IR. The setup what like to profile with another kemper would be
Kemper 1 with my Profile-Interface/Daw process
Phoenix II-Ozone 6 EQ- Kemper 2 for making a new Studio ProfileShould work actually or?
Could I Paste my DI Amp Profile from the Kemper 1 into this new studio profile to seperate Amp and a new cab which would have the Plugin process from studio Profile in it then?
Hope someonecan tell me, before I go for it

Nowhere I tried Profile the profile for a try without plugin. The Tone was same like in my profile but with a lot of background noise, kinda very loud amp noise when not pl, even with gate then ( planned to place it on the Reamped and recorded flying sorcer
noise before output to the Kemper direct Input for final profiling. -
Profile a kemper with or without noise gate?
-
Getting my second Kemper rack tomorrow!!
Any tips for profile a profiler? Are there things I should take care of? Someone done this before with good results actually?Would be awesome to hear from you.
-
Are there a official statement that this works accurate too?
-
Don't think so, but I believe others have done it with success. Remember : noise gates should be completely switched off for accurate results.
-
Alright thanks, cant wait to give it a try and hope it works good certainly
