[SOLVED] Website navigation change proposal

Hi

I find the navigation bar VERY frustrating. Whenever I want to go do DOWNLOADS while being on SUPPORT my mouse is traveling diagonal and it hits COMMUNITY or whatever and different menu items are displayed.

I have to put mouse over SUPPORT go like 20 pixels down and go like 500 pixels STRAIGHT LEFT in this narrow bar where DOWNLOADS are at the very end.

To do that I need like 1.86 seconds. I don't have time for that! And the "f____ng mouse cursor went outside again!" factor counts in, multiplying the time x3.

Maybe instead of

MainMenu.onMouseOver->displayMenuItems()

use

MainMenu.onMouseOver->highlightMenuOption() and MainMenu.onMouseClick()->displayMenuItems()

This is just programming approach for browsers - translated to human kemperian quantumium language

now when user puts over menu option (i.e. COMMUNITY) it invokes related menu items (FORUM RIG EXCHANGE etc)

my proposal is

when user puts over menu option (i.e. COMMUNITY) the option is highlighted but menu items are not displayed yet, when user clicks on option (COMMUNITY) the items will be displayed - this way you don't care if mouse cursor jumps onto another menu option (PROFILER, ARTISTS...)

CSS is to describe how it looks like, not how it behaves.

Been developing for years. Don't know if this menu is made from any jQuery template or self programmed, but for 99% it just uses onMouseOver event method instead of onMouseClick just guessing..

I think my request was fulfilled in the end

MainMenu.onMouseClick()->displayMenuItems() (not onMouseOver())
