Reverb/Delay frequency in Hz instead of +5.0 through -5.0?

  • I think it would be easier to find the range/sound of the filtering I want for my time-based effects this way, especially since the knobs seem to be speed sensitive. Maybe even change the Bandwidth or Q setting to a different numbering scheme as well, although in studios and with digital mixers there really isn't much of a standard. Maybe even a resonance control as well?

  • I might be wrong, but I think the Frequency setting on the reverb and delay changes the center frequency with each repeat - that's why a negative amount gets darker and darker, and a positive setting gets brighter and brighter.

As for Q... that IS the standard. A few programs, like Reaper, use Bandwidth, but almost every piece of hardware or software with an EQ setting measures its width in Q.
