tone matched profiles - John Petrucci | Slayer

Hi

was testing the EQ matching and noticed that mic placements and so on also effect the overall tone so here is two profiles EQ matched from John Petrucci. Not 100% authentic but it's a cool little indicator of how even though you can match the tone that ultimately your mic placement and pre-eq help define the overall profile sound.

Here, left and right slayer isolated, it sounds really "stereo" like sadly.

I used winrar and renamed it to .zip , if you use Winrar or 7zip it should auto detect the archive format and let you extract

I also change the cab to a sinmix rectyfier cab. After that it fits real good to my jp 6. What amp is it?

guitar -> Profiler In -> amp -> cab -> mic -> DAW -> plugins -> Profiler Return

Hardest part is configuring the routes with your mixer and daw. Maybe i'll do a video demo for you if I get chance.
