I connected two switch pedals to the Remote for looping, but they seem to act weird... One is used for start, the other for stop. Anyone else had problems with this?

yes they do... First of all, there's only a start and a stop mode. They act differently then the buttons on the remote. The start loop switch goes immediately in overdub mode instead of playback mode when you press it a second time.
There's 5 buttons on the remote. I wish you could assign any of those to the switches.
Secondly, the first note in the playback is always cut short. Shorter than what you actually played. Totally unusable.

If the switches act so weird I think you should open a support ticket.

I got the same Problem, external Buttons don't act like the looper-Buttons. Try out to start and record a Loop then stop it, restart it and try to stop it again that's not possible
I'm writing e-mails to the Support during the whole afternoon.
They say the Problem cannot be recreated.
I'm really confused, because it's consistent here with my remote.
And obviously I'm not alone ! -

No it doesn't !

As I understand it. The looper functionality with external switches is limited in what can be assigned at the moment. Only looper button, start button and stop basically. It seems also there is some type of bug some are experiencing. Make sure your switches are are correctly assigned and configured in the system menu with polarity, type, etc. if it does not act accordingly after that please report it and also request additional button support...

Yes, that's right. Assignments (function, pedal type, invers or normal etc) should be made carefully in the System menu, and also the switching-type (latch, momentary) is evidently important.. But considering all this, there is still unplausible behaviour of the remote, when Controlling the looper via Pedal-Slots.

exactly. All my settings are correct, I checked and double-checked. There's clearly a bug.

I just wrote the seventh !!! email to the Support Team. Burkhard replies, that he cannot reproduce the fault !??

It's very very hard to get them to recognize a bug. Finally, I made a video showing the bug and send it like that. Then the accepted it. It's not fixed yet, but it's the frist step. Maybe you can do the same? I think they are extremely busy...

Seems that you're right. I don't understand this behaviour, since it's just our Intention to help perfectionalizing the System.
Leo Fender was a bit more open for Feedback, I think. -
Let's not forget that this is in beta and that kemper is working hard to to get to a release which will be a major upgrade to the system we bought for free. Many companies would create a new product purchase for this type of enhancement. Have patience. They are busy working out many known replicatible bugs. It was just a short time ago there were many comments about releasing 4.0. Development takes some time. Btw, this is an important one to me also.

I agree, although it's frustrating for the customers. But it's true that most software companies ask a maintenance fee (around 22%) every year for their software. Or they sell it as an upgrade everytime there is one.

Please make sure that you choose the correct polarity for your switches and that you calibrate them in the system menu of the Profiler on the pedal assign page by pressing the calibrate soft button and pressing the switch once. If you follow this procedure i am sure your external switches will work just fine.

Calibrating is the clue !!
After a step-by-step-procedure I got from Burkhard (i.e. calibrating the Switches and then setting the Switches in the System-menu correctly (invers vs. normal) I lastly succeeded. The Mission-Switch had to be set to "invers" and calibrated, and now Loop-start and -stop function as they should. I tried this before but hadn't calibrated the Switch before, so this was the clue !
Compliment to the Kemper-Support -

Compliment to the Kemper-SupportStrange. I tried calibrating but didn't succeed. I don't know if it's doing anything at all... Tried re-inversing the polarity too. Problem is still not solved...
Can you please post the step-by-step procedure that you received from support? Thanks! -
You need to set the polarity first and then calibrate.
