Recently picked up this 1957 Les Paul Jr. It's been refinished, and tuners and tailpiece replaced. Pickup and electronics are all original and no headstock/neck cracks or repairs 59 Year old wood sure sounds good !!! Back in the day Gibson and Fender knew what they were doing, and the Jr. is a straight ahead no frills, no fancy maple top with big flames guitar. Keep it simple, and this thing really has character. Many different tones just by adjusting the volume/tone controls and changing your playing dynamics....It's a keeper.....
To the Kempers credit, it feels and sounds like a vintage guitar should. The KPA is great at staying transparent and letting the tone and character of the guitar stay fundamental to the tones coming out of the PA system...[Blocked Image: http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag408/Sean_Joplin/57%20Les%20Paul%20Jr/5D49C27E-71B9-4016-A30D-D561A6B94F3A_zpsn8v7jp4g.jpg][Blocked Image: http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag408/Sean_Joplin/57%20Les%20Paul%20Jr/F41C16B1-7FC7-4EB8-8CA0-3FEDE1AD9DAE_zpsebjffhzk.jpg][Blocked Image: http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag408/Sean_Joplin/57%20Les%20Paul%20Jr/C3ACF1F2-1D24-4CBF-848C-749DD264C70F_zps55blnu24.jpg][Blocked Image: http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag408/Sean_Joplin/57%20Les%20Paul%20Jr/CBA7EABA-21D1-4AD6-8602-9DF9210316CD_zpstsye33mv.jpg]
