You can connect it just like you would connect it to a regular amp.
-
is that with the effects loop?..im brand new to it and can't figure it..what inputs and outputs do i use..it seems different then regular amp
-
You can connect it to the input, like with a regular amp.
Or, you can use the FX Loop. But, using the FX loop requires enabling the FX loop in an FX slot, and if you want it to always be available, you have To Lock the FX loop in the slot. M

For more specific details, do a Forum Search for wah - the connection options and setup steps were recently discussed in a very useful thread.

As Paults said, just like a normal amp, guitar lead into wah, lead out into Kemper input.
I would never put a wah through any effects loop.
I find the built in Wah good enough, then you just need an expression pedal OR ( as I did) convert a cry baby into an expression pedal ( but that takes a bit of work)!

I'm using my crybaby the same way. Guitar -> Wah -> Kemper (Front)Input. Like you would with a regular amp. No options to configure. Never put wahs in the loop since it would not sound "right".

...or you can get rid of your wah and give the kemper wah a chance. the only risk you go into is that you'll become addicted
seriously...I had them all, I mean the pedal ones...tried the kemper and it was magic.
the advantages of using the kemper wah are countless compared to use a wah pedal...not to mention the quality of the kpa wah fx!

Except you'd lose one slot in the stomp section and I always place lots of stuff there but that's another story.

ok,iv'e just connect my wah pedal, when i swtched it on it works but when i rock the pedal nothing happens..like it's in a fixed position?..do i have to do something in the setting to get it to work?

That is impossible if you did like we told you. Can you please add pictures? Where did you connect it? What you don't understand is that the wah is an analog device. This means that you cannot switch it on and off within the Kemper if you really connected guitar -> wah -> Kemper front input. It will always alter your signal and this always will be reflected by the amp since it all happens before the amp.
Are you really sure you connected the guitar to the input of the wah and then connected the output of the wah to the Kemper front input? Is your wah also connected to a power source? Of course you have to do that to get it to work. If you follow this steps it will work 100%. If it doesn't your wah simply is defective.
-
well it seems to be almost an auto wah mode when i click on the profiler remote and when i click it off it's back to my normal sound..so it's working but rocking the pedal does nothing??
-
or is it meant to be auto wah??

If you want to control the internal WahWah of Kemper then you need a EXP pedal. If you want to use your CryBaby then you can only use what your CryBaby provides.
Your CryBaby can't control any internal Kemper-Stomps. -

Your CryBaby can't control any internal Kemper-Stomps.Yeah, seems to be some kind of misunderstanding. You told us you'd use your Cry Baby. You cannot control the Kemper with the analog wah. You just can use the Cry Baby like you would use it with any other amp or tube amp. If you want to use the Kempers wah effects you need to get an expression pedal and connect it to your Kemper or your Remote and set it up under system settings to your likings.
I'd recommend a Mission Engineering EP1-KP-GN.
As I sad before you also can use your Cry Baby like you would with any other amp there is no limitation to that.
Please also read the manual about what you can connect to the KPA and how to do that since it really seems that there are some massive misunderstandings. No offense, mate!
Feel free to ask further questions. -
ok so i can't control it plugging it into the kemper and using it as my way..as i said the way is on but it's just not reacting when i rock the crybaby..
-
will a mission engineering volume pedal work as a wah for it?
-
The Crybaby cannot be connected to The Remote.
The way you can use your Crybaby with the Kemper is like this:
Connect a cable from your guitar to the Crybaby Input.
Connect a cable from the Crybaby Output to the Input jack on the Kemper.

Yes (it is one of many Expression pedals that can be used) BUT it will have to be configured correctly to function. I suggest getting more familiar with the information in the Kemper manuals - if you want to be able to enjoy what the Kemper can do, you want
to understand what it can do. -
