Welcome to the forum... I just use me CLR nothing through vocal wedges
I don't have any guitar in my vocal monitor mix. I prefer to have it coming from a sidewashed DXR10. Depending on the size of the stage, the drummer, keyboardist, and bassist have guitar in their mixes.
Personal monitor here (Yamaha DXR 10), and guitar is not on the vocal wedges.
I've done both my Kemper and vocal in a wedge with no problem. If the wedge is of quality then you'll especially have no problem!
Ears, wedge and cab user here.
My preference is IEM.
The wedge I have and HARDLY ever use is a Yorkville PS12p for vox and Kemper.
cabs are gone but have used a few Dr Z cabs with various speakers and configurations.
Cabs and Monitors require additional tweaking in your output section but "even tone" can be achieved between them and FOH with some patience.
Best sound I ever heard from a Kemper into a powered cab was the Gemini. If I were in the market, that would be my very first stop. Probably my last.

I think if I heard my sound coming from both the back and the front I'd get lost on the stage

Using IEM with Mesa 4x12 (Merged Profiles) to give it some body and tone in the background. Also the cab is good for the singer who doesn't get on with IEMs.
