Gibson'68 Les Paul Red Tiger.
Oooh, looks nice! Is this an NGD for you?
this is my latest
Congrats!
Classy combo of the deep red and gold IMHO.
I like those red ones.
I've had 2x 2012 LPs recently and the quality control is consistent, action good, and sound from the Classic 57's are crunch-tastic!
What are the pups on that model?
The only thing I felt that needed changing was the tuners, and Grover makes a set that will drop in and fits one of the 2 holes so you don't need to drill (in case you want to resell it, you can drop the old tuners back in w/o any body damage)
I've heard bad things about former gibson runs, but the post 2010's have been superb, especially since they PLEK the action.
Well, I hope they continue to provide that consistency you speak of, db.
I only ever want to have to buy 1 LP, and I absolutely love the classy and warm look of this one. Just beautiful to me.

I have the Traditional which is right for me in the sense that it has that classic tone.
However, would I mind an R-take-your-pick? Probably. For the equity as much as the tone.
But on the other hand, if they have superstrats, I assume they have "super-lp's" to which I'd be particularly interested in for the attention to detail as well as enough modernism to avoid common pitfalls (but Gibson has addressed many of these already, except good tuners. Why do great classic guitars still have shitty tuners?!?)
That's always blown my mind too bud.
I mean, they get the hard stuff right, but something as simple as tuners? Go figure.
