Has anyone tried the new mission 2x12 cab https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/KM-212P-GN
Anyone try the mission KM-212p

I posted the same question on TGP a couple of days ago. No responses. I'm intrigued and trying to decide between it, the Gemini 2-p or standing pat with my Marshall 412 cab.

Same here. I love my old mesa 4x12 with blackshadow c90s but its a beast over 100+ lbs.

They are a smart company.
I assume you go to this with CAB on?
-
According to the blurb, yes to cab on. That's what interests me.
-
YAY I have GAS again! I'm getting one for sure to replace my Geminis.

Huh? The KM-212p is NOT a FRFR cab, so why would you put a "cab on"-signal into a "standard" guitarcab, which the KM-212p is.
As stated on their website:
"Unlike most full range monitors, it can also be used with regular guitar amp heads too." and "Frequency range 80Hz-5kHz" -

Mission Engineering have quoted $305 dollars for economy shipping to UK, I think I'll pass on that.

My bad. I confused the blurb from ME with this comment on TGP.
"I just called them - the guy I spoke with said that they are designed to leave cab sims on but he recommended experimenting with both"
-
Not sure if thats a good sign that they say to try with both cab sim on and off. Might pass on this one. I wish there were some good comparisons on youtube.

It's like those Tech21 pedals, i.e. Tri AC. There's a build in speaker sim you can't turn off but Tech 21 says you can use it in front of a guitaramp as well. I've had this Tri AC and I didn't like it at all in front of a guitaramp.
