I have been using my Kemper through two DXR10s in my acoustic duo (with Taylor acoustic) and am generally happy with the sound using MBritt acoustic profiles. I do occasionally play at venues in which the room sound causes problems with feedback, boomy sounds, etc. Just wondering what other acoustic guitarist's experiences are with the Kemper and looking for a few tips that will help me and others reading this as I can't find too much relevant information.
Any thoughts on Kemper vs dedicated acoustic amp or preamp with effects that can be plugged into the PA?
Acoustic amps often have notch frequency or phase buttons to help with feedback. What Kemper settings are best to help with feedback and problem frequencies?
Delay, reverb or other effects setting tips?
Much of the information I have been reading or listening to online is focused on acoustic guitar in a band setting. I either play acoustic guitar in a duo (with vocalist) or solo so the sound is exposed. Players like Tommy Emmanuel use AER or similar amps so Google keeps throwing solutions onto my screen. Yesterday's temptation was the Trace Elliot Multipedal TRANSIT-A which looks like a great all in one solution. I don't tend to make adjustments to the Kemper whilst at a gig after one experience of it crashing when I did save some changes at the venue. Dedicated acoustic guitar amps or preamps would be easier to adjust on the fly so might be a better solution.
Any thoughts on the above points or other relevant ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
