niiiice! I'm glad that you found something you like
Hi Bommel , I downloaded all of your profiles. Quick question, off the top, what would you recommend, of your profiles should I start off with for a 90's style rock in the styles of AIC and Soundgarden. Also if it's a merged or a DI for me running into my cab. Thanks brother!
hey! thanks for trying them out man! most od them are d.i. or merged so you shouldn't have a problem when using them with a cab
hmm well jerry cantrell used the jcm 800 on the first two albums and the marshall 6100 should come pretty close with the rigth cab and settings, he also used the rectifier and the 5150 so these should cover that too and same goes for soundgarden... chris cornell played some devided by 13 and vintage marshall like amps so maybe the jtm45 could also fit ...
I would try the mesa recti, 6100 and simply because if could fit the soldano profiles... i hope you find something that fits man ... if i have the time the next days i make you a cab for these bands. I love AIC and soundgarden so it is a good opportunity

Sweet!! Thanks. I appreciate the suggestions and offer! I have stolen a lot of licks from those two bands. Lol.
Thanks Thomas!
thanks dpeters95 i'm really thankful for all your replies

I'm very thankful for all replies of course ! Feel hugged guys
Thank you!
Thank you, Brother T.
Is this the '62 Fender Bassman, the Watkins, the "Modular" or something else? I'm not even sure about the older ones; any clarification would be appreciated, bud.
I keep everything in properly-named folders in RM; if I can't identify any cryptically-named Rigs' real-world origins I throw them out.
...
I just updated the names and folderstructure in the dropbox to make it conform with the coming homepage and videos ... this makes the old videos kind of obsolete but i will make new ones anyway this year so just so you know
Huh that shouldn't be since there are many more profiels in it now
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0zb…XF2UO2MmfKkffL9vWLva?dl=0
can you try again please ? maybe dropbox hasn't updated the link idk
'62 Bassman ? in which folder is that one ? i have a 65 and 59, a vetta bassman and a direct profile from the actual amp

I don't know which it originally belonged to, Thomas. I edit metadata of any Rigs that don't show the amp name in the (amp) Name field. That way all Rigs show manufacturer and model in theName column (always-enabled) in RM.
The Rig names haven't been changed 'though:
DOOMACHINE - 2018-11-06 02-01-14.kipr
DOOMACHINE 2 - 2018-11-06 02-01-14.kipr
DOOMACHINE 3 - 2018-11-06 02-01-14.kipr
DOOMACHINE 4 - 2018-11-06 02-01-14.kipr
DOOMACHINE 5 - 2018-11-06 02-01-14.kipr
The dates may be wrong 'cause they get updated when I edit the metadata. IIRC the original metadata definitely said '62 Fender Bassman or Fender Bassman '62.
OK, I tried the updated link as you suggested, and the file size is still 93,519 bytes, which is exactly what it was on Friday, the day before you said you updated it.
Sorry to bother you about this, matey.
ahhh okay yeah the "doommachine" profiles are the old ones the new d.i. ones are only called "doom".
I haven't updated anything of the old profiles since i will delete them, soon
the amp is a behringer bass amp with a marshall mini amp as a preamp, that one started out by just fooling around
but it was great for stonerrock and doom metal somehow. It is usable with guitar and bass and neither naming it behringer
nor marshall felt right for this one so i named it after the sound inspiration i got from fuzzy doom sounds
... but i really don't know why there is "bassman" in the metadata. I definately have not named it like that xD ... maybe it was still in there from profiling another amp before, i really don't know
Yep, that's what I figured too, Thomas; I see this happen often.
OK, so what're the model names of the Behringer bass amp and Marshall mini amp? Thanks man.
It is a Marshall ms 2c
and a Behrigner BXL 900 Ultrabass I hope this helped
