Hi! Are there other 3rd parties making artist profiles like http://www.rigbusters.com/prod…all-pack-kemper-profiles/ ? I'd be interested in finding artist packs for Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jerry Garcia, Mark Knopfler, etc. Any suggestions? Thank You!

Scott Minchk has just set up a service where he sells cheap Profiles and also made-to-order ones:
I like to support Scott 'cause I like him, but he's also the only person I know of who's doing this.

@Kinucleor Depending upon the era you were attempting to emulate, you could put together a Jerry Garcia rig/performance pretty easily yourself. If you check out this link you'll find more information where I started on a project (sadly, due to financial and time constraints I haven't moved much further) to profile various Jerry Garcia rigs from a community of aficionados I am active in (PM me for more info there if you want):

You can find more information on two profiles I did of a Macintosh 50 Power Amp > Sarno Music Solutions SMS Classic (modified Fender Twin Head) > Custom 2x12 Hardtrucker Mimic cabinet with 2 JBL K120s.
If you go to the Wah-settings Thread in Monkey_Man's signature, you'll find info on how to set up at least two attempts at mimicing Garcia's Mutron 3. All of his other effects were pretty much stock - you could easily tweak the Green Scream to mimic his use of the MXR distortion for example, chorus, phase, tremelo whatever.
I would recommend a Strat-type guitar but you may want to consider hybrid's or tributes (Scarlet Fire Guitars, Phred, etc.) if you really want to get close. Thats a start, let me know if you want more info.

And a crooked hand to emulate Jerry.

Top Jimi has an ACDC pack and an EVH brown sound pack based on particular tracks

Nope, for THAT you would need to chop off your right hand middle finger!

you smash it and then cut it off the right hand, then you smoke... a bit and play for five hours. Just joking. I was a bit of a deadhead years ago. And García's dad was born close to where I am from. I loved that guy 's mojo. Especially when he mixed in country flavors. Im also a QMS fan. Good old out-of-tune Cipollina.

It's all good. I am going to see Dead & Company tonight. Very interested in seeing Bobby's new Fat Jimmy rig & whether or not John is using his Dumble as I have heard rumored. I am in the pit, so I hope to get some good pics and will share if I do.

The top jimi profiles you suggested sound great on their demos. Have you tried them?

Got both and they are very good if you like Mars sounds. Not only for the bands in question. Pretty versatile.

Cool. Thanks!

Great Jerry profiles. Thanks!

I bought the evh top jimi profiles...really nice.
I also bought the pink floyd wall profiles from rigbusters. Those are pretty good, but an incredibly bloomy low end. I use a nashville tele style geetar with a paf humbucker neck, vintage single coil middle and a tele bridge pickup. Any suggestions on reducing the low end bloom (really huge on some of the profiles) (you'd probably have to see the profile, in order comment)?
On another note is there a way to copy a group of effects from one rig and apply them to another?
Thanks!

You can lock the effects you want to keep and then change the amp or amp and cab, and later save as a new Rig the new combination of amp and effects you like.

Please explain that process. Thanks!

Figured it out...nice and simple. Thanks for the help!

Top Jimy has a Very nice Hendrix pack too

Off topic, here is a link to some pics I took at the show. Sadly, I have not mastered my daughter's camera so pardon the lack of quality and dates.
Mayer has a Kemper, wish he would profile his amps and share them with the community! John, if you are out there, hint hint!!!
