I have noticed my KPA powered toaster requires more and more output to produce sound. (I now have to be at 2.0 just to get sound)
Thoughts/Suggestions.
Thanks ~Jammin Jeff!

Please update your Profiler to the most current version (5.3.1)
The way the master volume control works for the outputs is much more transparent in this version.
Hello, hjscheffler,
I just bought my Kemper three weeks ago, would I already have the updated firmware?
How do I check for updates online?
Thank you,
Keith

I bet your machine is not on the new FW yet.
Either you check it manually or you enable RigManager to do automatic updates.
5.3.1 has only been released currently. Profilers that were build some months ago will still have an older version. Log into your user account and download the latest version from the download section of our website and follow the instructions in the "How to update" PDF document that comes with the download.
OK, thank you fellas!
I just need to download the latest update right? I don't have to do all of the updates… Correct?
It seems to be working
If your Profiler is running at least 1.8.2 you can install the latest updates directly.
I did it! The one thing I was so afraid of when I bought this thing was the technology, I cannot believe that I actually did it, it updated, now I have a whole bunch of funky volume controls
Thanks- I've always been concerned about updates for fear of losing my rigs or the amp stop working properly.
don't be afraid of that, even when an Problem occurs after updating
its simple too to return to the former version
Thanks Digbob!
Just to avoid misunderstandings:
5.3.1 doesn't change the mechanics around Master Volume, but it adds a screen, which illustrates how Master Volume is working in relation to the volumes of the outputs linked to it. Hopefully this screen helps to understand, what Master Volume does and that any particular Master Volume value cannot represent a specific output level.
I appreciate this new screen because it shows you everything- all volumes … But, is there a way to get back to the old original screen once I know how everything is set up?
