If I make, say, a clean rhythm loop and then switch to distortion patch for a lead....the rhythm loop then becomes distorted. Is there any way around this?

System menue - remote setting (12/18 in my version:)
If you set the Loper Loc to "post" you can change the Rig to another sound and the looper signal will not change.
If the Looper Loc is "pre" the sound for the loop will change also.Remark: Its only possible to change the Rig when you leave the Looper mode, change the Sound. Then you can and go back to looper mode for another overdup.
