You get the basics physical manual in the box with the Kemper but can you get the main manual in a physical version too?

If you take the PDF version of the manual to one of those quick print shops, or to a Staples, if you’re in the US, you should be able to get a copy printed.
-
For that matter, you should be able to email a PDF to them, and then just go pick it up.
-
One other note: you may want to wait until version six is released-there may be a new version of the manual for it.

This might be my only option, so I take it Kemper do not do a proper printed copy?

Version 6 might look a lot different considering they are working on a new preset system overhaul. It would make no sense to have a paper copy of something that's going to change so much.
-
I agree with Paul and CG - wait for v6 firmware; there'll definitely be changes unless they cram it all into an addendum, but I see this as unlikely 'cause there'll be quite a bit of information.
My only concern for you would be the cost. The only printing option I have nearby charges something like 30 cents per page.

One other aside:
I really like the PDF manuals. I can keep a copy on my phone and my computer. And, most importantly for me, a paper manual can’t be searched by keyword.
-
I prefer PDFs. You can't search paper

While I doubt my small voice in the wilderness would make much difference, I find the formatting on the pdfs to be less than optimal. They're not a standard portrait or landscape size. This means I have to scroll down to read each page.
I can understand the artsy sizing to do a neat looking physical book, but if you're not going to be printing the reference manual anyway, sticking to standards would make for a better electronic experience.
And yeah, count me among those who prefer searchable pdfs to dead trees.

They are not alone. Most no longer provided printed copies especially with a large number of pages to conserve trees and money. Anymore a searchable electronic document is hard to beat.
