Hi,
I was having trouble backing up my mac. When I looked for the cause, I found a log file that was 922 GB (with a G) had been created by rig manager. Is this normal?
thanks,
Scott

Wow, that sure is a hell of a log!
Welcome Scott! No that's definitely not normal. Where was the file located? Almost 1TB, geez
Hi Guys, it was under the Kemper folder in the user directory. I thought one of their developers might want to know about it. Thanks for the replies.
Scott
You should probably send it to Kemper support. You can't rely on them seeing it here. And welcome to the forum!
You better have one helluva internet connection to send a terrabyte of data...
You might want to open the log file and copy just a "tiny bit of it" and forward it to Support. You definitely ain't forwarding a 1TB file. Get support involved.
LOL. Yeah, I wasn't thinking about the massive size
just delete it and keep working for a day. Then, send us the new log file. that's an impressive size I have to admit

However, it's not the size the of the log file that's important
What is the log file called?
What is the log file called?
It was called DebugLog.txt. For those wondering, I deleted it immediately after finding it. It was a big problem. I also filed a support ticket. It hasn't happened since. It was a new Kemper and I had just downloaded Rig Manager. Interesting problem. I've never seen anything like it. Thanks for all the comments. The Kemper is amazing.
