You need OS7 on your Kemper, and the associated RM.
-
You can rename the extension to .KIPR and it should work.
All rigs created with OS7 are .KRIG for some reason, but it's an easy fix for older firmwares. -
Problem solved, thanks

Yes probably but renaming the extension makes it possible to import them in an older version of Rig Manager.

Yes, I know. I was just replying to your comment “for some reason” .

Oh okay haha

I don't want to to flood the forum with a other question related to the rig so i ask here. How Rig Manager communicate with the Kemper ? If i delete a rig on teh RM does it delete it also in the KPA ? Cause i wan't to almost erase all the profile but ot all of them. Also do i have to go for usb stick transfert or can use RM to transfer new rigs ?
-
There is a folder in RM called My Kemper or something similar which syncs with your KPA. You drag and drop (or copy and paste) any rigs from rig manager into this folder and they load to the KPA. If you create a new rig in the KPA and want to save it in RM to protect it being erased completely then also copy from the My Profiler folder to another folder in RM.
-
And also i changed the name of a rig directly in the kemper and marked it as favorite but doesn't in RM, is there a refresh button or something somewhere ? And vice versa when editing on rm and then actualised on the kemper
-
No. The KPA content is independent of the RM content. They sync via the My Profiler folder. If the names are the same when you drag back into RM it will overwrite the one in RM but if they are different names you will have two rigs.
