Delay tails with Reverb?

This can apply to modeling or analog effects:

Whenever I use delay (which is quite a bit lately), I can never seem to find a reverb effect to follow delay without keeping the delay tails from being distorted (muddied up). Doesn't matter if it's my pedal board, DAW plugins, or the Kemper effects.

Is this the same for you? Am I not setting something right, or is verb inherently hard to dial in after a delay tail?

I went to rig menu page 1 and set the DLY+REV Routing = -100%. to start. I also went to page 4 and "checked" the Parallel Signal path with the softbutton.

Those two options should really open up some great tone possibilities.
