Powercab 112 plus Kemper

  • Does anyone use a Line 6 Powercab 112 plus Kemper?

I do have a Krmper powered head and the light of the Powercab is always Green and I know that the most realistic sound will come if the yellow light of the powercab is lit instead Green. Does anyone know how to make it happen? I tried let Kemper Rig loud but didn't work.

  • Green is good.

    From the manual...

Signal LEDs - Indicate the overall level of the sound as it is processed
through the system. Green indicates the presence of an input signal,
yellow indicates that it is approaching the upper limit, and red
indicates clipping. If you encounter clipping, try turning down the
level of the source device (e.g., your amp modeling device). When
the signal LED(s) turn yellow, the Powercab speaker system will have
the most realistic non-linear natural breakup characteristics.

  • Powercab reacts exactly like every amplified FRFR system....

If you want to have more input source, just push Kemper's output level by turning main volume and disable -12dB in the output section.

But at the end, do you like the sound you obtain ? Do you have enough volume ?

You can increase the volume, if you use Powercab's cab sims, by changing the dB per speaker simulation too if this is the case....
