Hi all. I saw the midi port are all 5 pin ones. so I guess there is no phantom power coming out of them since it would take 7 pin midi jack. so the question: is there a phantom power available for the purpose?
all the best

Here's what I'm going to do: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RDMH900/ It lets you insert the power for the midi pedal remotely - at the other end of the cable.

I'll attach the GCP wall wart ,with velcro, into the KPA's hollow back cavity to keep clutter down.
Then, I'll use something like this to power everything up:

That should solve it for me...until Kemper brings out their own phantom powered floorboard. -

I use the same solution, works fine (power is in the rack anyway).

I use the Rocktron 5 to 7 pin midi cable with a Voodoo lab Ground Control Pro...
Works fine for changing patches...

ah...forget my last reply. I know how it works: I still have to use the all access power adapter which will be out of the way since the long cable ables me to plug is far from the pedal board.
is this the case?

I found the power cable on ebay...it's called a "Y" cable. You'll have to scroll through a bunch of cables to find the proper type. I cut the 3-prong plug off one end and installed a receptacle I bought at Home Depot for the AC adapter for the GCP.
