How do I “audition” rigs which I have downloaded into Rig Manager?

  • I don’t understand how to audition new profiles that I download into Rig manager.

Therefore, I have been downloading MANY profiles at a time and loading them ALL into my Kemper Stage, then end up deleting most of them, because they don’t sound very good.

Is there a way I can listen to what the profiles sound like BEFORE loading them all into my actual profiler?

If so, please tell me how.

    Thank you sincerely,

    Matt

  • Just double click the Rig you want to play. It's not actually saving on the Kemper, it's just loaded into the edit buffer. This would work in any of the sections - Local Library, Rig Exchange, My Profiler.

If you're downloading new profiles you'd probably put them into folders you create in Local Library. Save them in My Profiler if you plan on using them at a show or away from Rig Manager.

  • Make sure you see the little "headphone" icon in front of the profile in RM. That lets you know it's loaded into kemper to audition.
