Is the Player Monitor Out DI?

Changed the title of the thread from “Player Monitor Out is DI?” to “Is the Player Monitor Out DI?”.
  • The monitor out is for connecting to a powered monitor or guitar cabinet.

If you haven’t already looked, page 20 of the Player, manual goes into some detail.

It is not intended as an out to a mixer. Although you probably could

  • the monitor outputs deliver an unbalanced line-level signal which is suitable for active monitors, power amps, mixing desks, and audio interfaces. You would only need a Di box if you plan to have very long cable runs. In a normal recording setup, you do not need any DI box to connect the monitor outputs to a mixer.
