    Hi guys

Using kpe stage on direct FOE for repetitions is my best way to be quickly "on the box" ...

Because differents amps, small place, time .....ect.

But sometimes the sound is not pleasant ( except the quality of the FOH or the mixing table ? ).

What are the best output tuning for this use ?

Now i use output master stereo,-12db without EQ low hi cut.

For information i use this tuning for live , the sound is ok ( but we have sound enginner ... )

    Thanks for all

    Phil

  • Your output settings are good. (The Kemper Sound is consistent.)

What do you mean with "sound is not pleasant "?

    Did you check the cables?

Did you used the xlr Outs?

Location Sounds different and it have to fit the room sound. But this is the job of the sound guy.

The sound you hear is subjective, depending on time of the day.

  • “Sounds not pleasant” is quite a wide ranging statement so it could be any one (or several) of many things. However, when I find the sound is truly “unpleasant the cause is nearly always using XLR>XLR cables with a desk or interface that uses combination inputs that automatically engage the mic preamp when an XLR is plugged in. The solution in most cases is to use a TS>TS cable or XLR>TRS to bypass the mic pre amp which typically can’t handle the output ot the Kemper.
