Is it just me or does CK also seem really tired and burnt out? And not just because of the time difference between Germany and the US, but also because of working for 6 years on this project.
@CK - Seriously man, if you need a break please take it, go off on a cruise or cycling holiday or anything away from computers and technology. No job, project or product is worth your health. We can survive on the current firmware for a month or two longer if it will mean we can get you back rejuvenated and full of ideas and passion.
Parallel to this consider that he's still running Access/Virus plus he's a producer.... Agree with Per, we all need you, please don't burn yourself out...

I thought the same thing. The guy is probably flat out working LONG hours. Sometimes you need to take a time out, like you say..a nice long cruise or beach holiday to sit and reflect and put things into persepctive. Then come come back all refreshed and rejuvenated!

It's just a lack of sync between it's LED's and the shutter/capture speed of his webcam, they're running at different frequencies so when one frame is captured the LED may be cycling off, the next frame it may be cycling on. You'd need a genlock device to sync it, or a better camera sensor would help to allow a longer exposure time per frame which would smooth things out a little.

al,the buttons dont usually flash together though, eg the amp/stack/eq/cab dont all blink

Probably jet lag, the KPA is sold now on every continent...+ beer fest.

This isn't related to slow on/off flashing such as on the tap button, but rather the high frequency flicker of LED's that's similer to CRT's or flourescent lighting.

Hey everyone. Thanks for checking it out! Marc and I are doing a series for GC Pro and picked the KPA to be the focus of one of the first 2 videos. After having the unit since it's US launch, I am so psyched by it that I really wanted to help give potential customers some behind-the-scenes info from CK, as well as talk a bit about how I use it in my productions. I definitely spoke with CK about some of the common questions here on the forum as well. And, again, BIG thanks to Christoph for making time for the interview.
