One of my older students commented last week that the KPA resembles HAM radios and that the Kemper logo resembles the ARRL one (which it does).

I think its funny that the lower half of the logo shows a symbol normally used for tubes in tube amp schematics
There is also a strong resemblance to the Telefunken logo. I'm sure that's no coincidence.

I like the kemper logo design too. There are different things put in there.
I think I read somewhere that the upper part of the logo has to do with mining or similar history from the city they work in, correct me if I'm wrong. The logo would even look great on a tabasco bottle!
