Firstly, Happy easter!
I love all 3, I play them exclusively with my tele, (try it if you have one) the edge of breakup is incredible with a tweed twang style involved.
the j20 is a bit bassy on a LP, but thats easy to cut, and smaller amps often result in this as studios tend to make them "bigger" than they are.
Whats great about these is the clean to crunch to full ratio, using just volume. - almost as if no other profiles are needed as they can cover so much ground!.
But each one offers a differ harmonic involvement with amp dialed in differently.
I prefer to play alone with them dialed in quite dark. then for recording use a brighter one to help cut in the mix.
Im going to order a J40 for myself. as thats my favorite from the 3 (if I had to pick one)
