I like them a lot! even better than some of the commercial stuff THANKS FOR YOUR WORK AND SHARING!
-
Glad to hear everything's good.
I just tried the new profiles and love them, especially 57 copy 4!
Do you have a link to where you bought the mic? I'd like to check it out. Also if you don't mind taking the time, I'm curious of your Mark III settings. I wonder if it would sound close dialed on my Quad.
In case you don't have it, a link to the Mark III settings tool. http://www.chain-metal.nl/mark3/
Thanks again. -

Made a few new profiles to try out 2.6 firmware.
I have upload one on rig exchange, that profiled is named pr20 1 in this zip file.
2 profiles made with a sm57
2 profiles made with a tsm mt57
2 profiles made with a heil pr-20
and i included 2 slave out profiles for use with power amp and guitar cab (same settings but the one named noref is without refining.)
This was just a quick firmware test and i will probably make some more soon. -

I got the PR20 from RE and this is pretty cool.
I tweaked it a bit and took a little off the gain, and found that this tone have the magic sweet spot where you can have a clean full sound when picking in the low end of the dynamic range and get it to drive when you hit it a bit harder.
It's gonna be exciting time with the new FW.
Cool profile you made here. Can't wait to try it out live...

I tried them and they are even more killer than usual. I am not a fan of PR-20, but the SM57 an the TSM ones are stellar !!! I make always the same tweaks with AMP block and CAB Block, and they are perfect for me !! The best MARK profiles around there without any doubt. Period
-
Thanks!
I kind of like the pr20, but i can understand that it's not for everyone.
maybe all the new profiles are a bit bass heavy, will try to lower some on the amp next time. -
Thank Thumas, great profiles again, there are more clear then the others. I do not think they have too much low end, I like the PR20 profiles. Many thanks.

Hey Thumas,
My fav profile ever of the Kemper is now one of yours : your FW2.6 TSM57 1 (don't remember the name exactly). I tweaked like I generally do and it is now the clone of my IIC+ worhorse live tone, but yours has the advantage not to use the X slot for Graphic eq. I have now one extra slot available for FX. Great !!!!
-
Wow, thanks for your nice words, really nice to know that someone uses my profile(s).
One thing that differ on these profiles made with 2.6 fw is that all profiles use treble on 10, bass and mid at 0. Input gain was 7, and drive 7.25..
The graphic eq was used as classic v but not much boost with bass and heights, the 750 slider was just below bottom line, probably pretty close to what we have discussed about petruccis latest studio setting (geq)The sm57 1 profiles does not have the knob eq like that, more classic there, (treble 7, bass 2, and so on)

Bass and Mid Zero? My Triamp would sound like complete garbage with those settings.
