OK, it's history now. Boy am I tired! The lunchbox worked like a champ and sounded great Too bad I couldn't do it the justice it deserves!

Congratulations, I have not gigged for about 8 years, but 40!, how did the nerves hold up?
-
I had a little bit of nerves going on, which did affect my soloing. Let's just say that things got a lot simpler than they might have been We were sandwiched between two other groups, with 30 minutes between each, so it was hectic getting set up and then tearing down. I think there was some video taken of it, but I'm afraid of what that will sound like
-
Cool
-
Great! The next one will be MUCH easier
-
Great! I know how it feels being tired. 4 weeks ago we had the first gig since 2 years. Being nervous gave me a "good" vibrato.
-
Its like riding s bike, Zap! May you have many more gigs to come!

I wish I could have made the gig! Keep after it.
-
my best congratulations. that was something, wasn't it.
i haven't gigged for two years now, but forty, wow!!!
that means you played your last gig with a school band at the age of 10. amazing.
well, then: welcome to the club! i hope you will have more gigs
in the near future. i used to play in front of 50 people and when at my last
concert there were 400 people, goodness, my nerves.
i was a wreck before the concert. a wreck!
hope to see you again on a stage with the lunchbox soon.cheers
-
Cool, Zap! Don't wait another 40 years for the next one!
Was it really a "champ" rig? I am a big fan of the champ and I played many, gigs with a champ and later with the profile of my champ.
-
you sure it was your nervous solos you were worried about?
personally i'd be more alarmed at the shirt lol
hey man just kidding.
gratz glad you got through ut.hungry for more now?
-
Well, the next gig is in 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks after that, so will be fully in the groove soon. As for the "champ" comment, I wasn't referring to the amp. I only used 4 rigs - mostly my own clean JTM30, but also Arvin's 52 Del M03 Comp+, Andy's Morgan Clean+, and a Gilmourish rig that's of uncertain origin.

Congrats Larry! Well done! Now we want some videos....
-
I think there was a video done, so we'll see about that. I'm not sure if I'll want those to see the light of day ...
-
But we are sure! Bring on the video!
Congrats to your gig and all the best for the upcoming ones. Nervousness will definitely get a lot less but it (at least for me) never completely disappears. Which however is a good thing I guess!Cheers,
Markus -
Congratulations on ending the hiatus!
-
Ah you've started the fire again!
Congratulations, my friend!
There's only few things in life that can keep up with having a gig ... -
... Old good Zapple strikes again... maybe
... videos, or it didn't happen (the OP's picture is nothing but a bad photoshop editing)

I'm not clever enough to photoshop it ...

Well, this doesn't prove anything. Lots of starving Uni students around selling their genius for a can of beans...
