New Profiles - Marshall, Mojave, Ceriatone

Placed a few updated profiles on the rig exchange today, looking for any feedback.

Very straight forward single SM57, Chandler LTD-1 preamp, loud in a room.

Marshall JTM50 Black Flag Update with Mark Knofler Settings.
Mojave Ampworks Peacemaker (100 Plexi Style)
Mojave Ampworks Coyote (dual EL84 style)
Ceriatone HRM50 Clean and Lead (dumble clone)

Need to do ceriatone clean again. Getting distortion and clipping on humbuckers.

Added two more profiles.
One with just the lead channel using a SM57.
Other is with bridged channels but the bass channel at half way not all the way up like the Knofler profile. Again, using SM57.

Love the "Marsh JTM5057BR". It's my new favorite right now. The Coyote is really working well in a few different song ideas I am working on. It takes the right place in the mix just like it is.

Beautiful rigs , I tested all your latest ones, they are instantly playable in their own context. They match my strat , tele and LP in very large range of gain settings. They sound very tubey , looks like your profiling session was great !!!

The peacemaker rig sounds a bitcrisppy in the mids & highs to me while all the other ones are smooth & well balanced. I'm recording some blues out of 'em, very warm sounding

I guess you have some other Peacemaker profiles to share ?? please do because this is a very intersting amp ( superlead clone ??)

Thanks for the feedback on the peacemaker. I agree, the tones are a bit on the raw side, so next session will focus on warming things up.

Sean, you are the King of vintage Marshall tones for me! Whatever profile you do with your Blackflag, they all hit a sweet spot for me.

I was in bed with a severe cold (fuck the current weather in Germany) so I only checked out the Knopfler-setting and loved it. It is bass heavier than your previous profiles - that normal channel on those old Marshalls is quite bass heavy after all - but it nails that Knopfler sound on his latest records quite well when used with a vintage-style (read: bright) Les Paul.

To my very surprise it also nails early Cream-era Clapton sounds. When I thought about it that seems logical since Eric used JTM 45/100 (and those are not that far away from a 50 Watt Blackflag) and he also bridged channels. I just use the bridge pickup of my vintage-style Lester and I was right there.

Will check your other bridged profile as soon as I make it in my studio again.

N, I can do a similar setup with the royer and post those as well. Felt like the royer profiles were getting a phased kind of sound based on the room. I'll work to optimize the environment for the 121 and give it another shot.
