Setting DAW "bit depth" for recording the KPA

Hey guys, just want to begin doing some recording with the KPA and was wondering what settings would be right for doing so in my DAW.
From what I've read here, 44.1khz is the only sample rate available, so I guess this means the DAW has to run at the same resolution.
What's the deal though, with the bit depth? Do I have to record at 16 or can I use 24 or 32 without a problem?

The KPA's bit depth on the S/PDIF connectors is 24bit as stated in the specs.
Please note, that the KPA has to be Master, so you need to sync your audio interface to the KPA, sadly.

since I see no mention of using the S/PDIF outs in your original post:
you can use any Bit Depth/Samplerate setting you want when using the analog outs into your interface.

44,1 and 24 bit is a good "standard" you can't go wrong with
