Perfect example of a non signature tone that rocks my world.
I reckon the Kemper is totally capable of reproducing this tone...Bill Ruppert or Gundy Keller can do it...

That was cool.
Very impressive and a lotta Passion and Soul. Thanks for sharing
Is that an octave fuzz he's got going?
That was pretty good.
I'm neither of those gentlemen.
But, I liked the song!
I used a 70s Les Paul to make this profile - it is a loud guitar. so, if you don't have enough gain, turn up the amp gain. It will get you in the general direction of the sound.
I could have used many different amps as a starting point. Then, I remembered about Fastredponycar's Jet City. Seems somehow fitting
Yes very cool stuff, like it a lot.
Thanks for sharing! Never seen that guy before. Truly impressive!! !
Great showmanship and catchy rhythms!

I assume that too.
Place a RectiShaper in front of a high gain amp.
That is similar to an octafuzz, but can give even better results!

Yes the Kemper does that sound great.
I did a rig for you as a starting point.
The rig is on rig exchange now called Octo Dirt.

Bill,
I suspect a pitch shifter in this sound, rather than a RectiShaper, right?
yes gotta be pitch shift?
Display MoreYes pitch shifter is doing the octave down as he was doing the White Stripes octave thing
RetiShaper will give you the upper octave like this;
(its also a killer sound and more upper octave can be tweak out)
