Could the website links in threads open in a new window? That would be a change I'd like to see.

You can already do that by clicking the link VIA clicking the scroll wheel on the mouse with most browsers.
-
The point is to just click on the link and get a new window. For those not using a PC and standard mouse, it can be a pain.

I understand where you are coming from as I am 98% Linux user and don't use Windows unless I have to. Was just trying to make things simpler for the time being as the change could take some time.
-
I don't know if this is a standard Linux command or not, but, with the Linux version of Chrome, it is as simple as:
"To open a link in a new tab, press Ctrl (Linux) or ⌘ (Mac) on your keyboard when you click the link."

+1 on this request, I think links to external sites should always open in a new window/tab.

+1 It's always annoyed me that I have to use the back button to return to the forum. -
These links that open in a new window or a new browser tab have become a bit out of fashion because pretty much all browsers offer a simple way to open a link the way the user wants. You just have to know the way how to do it. If links are forced to open in a new window or browser tab, it's hard for those who don't like to get a multitude of windows and/or tabs while browsing. Forced is forced.
Take this as an explanation why most modern websites don't do this anymore. Of course it's not difficult to change the behaviour if there's a clear distinction between internal and external links. But that's not the case here on these forums. I think best practice is to get used to the shortcuts in your preferred browser to open links the way you like.
But that's just my personal point of view, of course.
Cheers,

OK, well call me ignorant or lazy, but I didn't realize I could control this myself So, after looking into it, I realize that by pressing the CTRL key when clicking on the link, it opens in a new tabMartin, thanks for the little kick in the butt to learn how to use the browser properly!

If you happen to have a mouse with scrollwheel, it should be a simple click on the mouse wheel instead of the left mouse button, as K3MP3R already pointed out.

LOL. I didn't realize that I could push the scrollwheel to click! Just tried it and it works perfectly -
By the way, forgive the diversion but is there a link on this site to link back to the main Kemper page and rig exchange.
I've always had to type out the URL in the browser window. I'm sure there's a link and I'm simply being a chump!

Scroll clicking on links is very convenient. -
Alternatively, right click and then open in a new tab or new window.
"look ma, one hand! haw haw haw!"

Don't think so. They should definitely make e.g. the logo a link to http://www.kemper-amps.com

+100
A link to the kemper homepage should be at the top of the forum or/and in the Kemper logo name.
