I can see these been sold in blister packs at the supermarket checkout in between the chewing gum and batteries.
I owned a tone lab when they first came out, still as good as today's line6 IMO.
Well get one just for curiosity at that price
-
Wouldn't they keep that to themselves until at least the launch of the KFC.
Would they want 3rd parties to beat them to the punch?
Just curious did the AXE FX or similar release this info?

I have been tempted (trainwreck, Gilmours Hi Watt) but have never purchased any commercial profiles, I'm not cheap, just never felt the need. There are so many good ones and the so so ones can be tweaked to your ears once you are at ease with the parameters.

No, I'm sort of thinking we might have to wait longer still, but this is pure speculation.
The FCB and chip fit many men's needs but alas not mine.

If and that's a big IF it does consensus seems to think it may be implemented with the KFC. There are threads proposing foot controller design from CK showing a looper button -
The Kemper Foot Controller: Evolution
And apparently David Torn was asked for some input, but the Kemper team have been quite tight lipped lately.
If its a feature you need I would look at other options at the moment. I'm having a lot of fun with the Strymon El Capistan connected after the mains out and a TC Electronics Ditto in the effects slots so the loop changes with new rigs.

So goodbye Kemper?

Hi tonemasterus,,
I have a sp-1 and was hoping for the same thing.
With the link pedal feature I thought it would be possible but alas I could not get it to work, I think this feature is for pedal connected via a midi foot controler, makes sense as its in the midi settings I guess.
Hopefully I'm wrong and some one will step in to correct me as it would suit as a simple solution for certain things.

Adjusting clean sense helps even out the volume but I think your asking too much for it be the complete answer.
For offending profiles I adjust the cab volume and save.

That's really great Ingolf, nice classic dare I say it "vibe", your voice sounds great!

Adrian belew is pretty famous for using pitched delay

I would really like it to be a part of the kemper effects!!!
That was fantastic, thanks for sharing.

I would love to hear some remarquable recording with delay on a pitch shifter.
Any famous band using it?Nope, we just want it because it sounds cool
-
Recording a dry signal and having your feed as wet as you like it is very important to me for just the feel as you mentioned.
Having said that i feel the KPA's effects are quite good and definitely better then at least the stock one's included with most recording software I've used and sometimes i may record with a bit of the delay and verb from the KPA. The main trick to doing this is to get the settings as you like and then back it off a little as it always seems more pronounced on playback.
Recording the dry signal is definitely the "more pro engineer aproach" but i'm a guitar player first and as Ingolf says there's know golden rule.

The formant shift has added new dimensions to pitch effects for me, before it was not an effect ( pitch ) I cared for.
-
I hope so as you still then have the option of the camplifier and any other 3rd parties who may crop up.
-
Wow didn't Know that was there, thanks

You might also want to check out the Holdsworth rig from the rig pack Bill Rupert has just put up, won't be able to try it for a couple of days but the video sounds outrageously good.

Thank you, I was looking forward to this and that Holdsworth rig sounds fantastic.
Really apreciate your work
