With my Music Man EVH the dirfference between a really cold day and an average warm day is 1/2 a semi tone...
The neck is not finished (varnish)... this must be the reason...

Anyone interested in my latest profile which tends to be my favourite ? It is my recreation of Marco Sfogli's Andromeda tone.
Bien sur!

Same prob on the Macbook...
Time to contact kemper support. -
I'm running the latest Rig manager version...
I will try running rig manager on my macbook this evening... -
Has anybody already found a solution for this problem?
It takes quite a time before my Kamper starts up now...
I kept about 90 profiles in the kemper, and kicked the rest in "local library" in rig manager, but now, starting up it takes already about 15 minutes that he keeps "syncing" rigs...
I tried starting up holding the rig button, and the rig initializing goes fine, but next startup the prob is back again...
I also unistalled rig manager (deleting the files that were still there after the uninstall...) but even after a fresh install the problem is still there... -
Same problerm here...

I found a lot of familiar names when I compare the names of old Vetta and new KPA profiles customers.
True! Your "profiles" for the Vetta were outstanding!

I used a vetta 12 year and knobs moving at high volumes was a design fault. This was cured by putting little "Polo Mint" like washers underneath the knobs. I remember going to the factory in Rugby and mentioning this issue to them and this is what they gave
me to cure it and it worked lolLine6 send me metal knobs to exchange the plastic ones... then the problem was solved...
They never send me the balls the amp needed... so I got rid of it and got me an ENGL Smolski... that thing has at least 3 balls I think... -
I searched the www but I can not find the Boss thing...
I guess I'm getting old... was it that long ago...Edit: found it! https://www.google.be/search?q…mplifiers.htm%3B448%3B302
The play bus... The Japanese answer to Tom Scholz rockman... -
I've had a line6 POD and a Line6 Vetta...
The Vetta was very good to use with headphones at night when all the family members were sleeping...
When using it with other band members it was clear that at high volume the Vetta missed balls and was easily lost in the mix...
Maybe my Vetta was a female...
I also remember that the knobs were moving from themselves from the vibrations of the speakers...
I also had a Zoom 9002, which was very good in those days...
Before the Zoom I used a Roland Boss kind of "walkman for guitar", but the thing was not good... -
Thanks for the answer Paul.
I'm using a GCP Voodoo Lab, don't think he ever heared about NRPN... -
Is it already possible to set up the tremolo mix with a midi pedal?
It is possible to use CC#23 when the effect is in slot x for example, but this is on/off switching...
It would be nice to use the ewpression pedal to "mix" the clean and tremolo effect...Can not find anything about it on the forums...

Yesterday I mailed Kemper for the balance problem...
Today, Mr Scheffler asked me to do a system reset, and the monitor output and the direct output are perfectly in balance now...
(Power the profiler into Browser mode while holding down the SYSTEM button to initiate a System reset. You will need to verify date and time and reenter your username after the next bootup.)
Nice to have a quick answer for the prob... -
@ lightbox
Have you flipped the Monitor Output and Direct Output cables, just to make sure it's a Profiler issue and not a speaker issue?Yes, I did!
-
Thanks for the reaction, guys.
@ Viabroce I read somewhere in the forum that the setup that I use (Mains stereo to FOH, and Direct out and monitor out stereo left and right) was the proper way to go... but never read anything about different levels... so I thought, there must be something I'm doing wrong...
I can setup the levels at monitor -30dB and direct -15dB... or maybe -15dB - 0dB if the signal stays ok...@ Heavypick the profile(s) I was using have the guitar perfectly in the middle. When using delay or chorus, the effects are in stereo... but the guitar should be at the same level right and left?
