When you do, Paul shall update the OP
Yes, I will! If someone notices before I do when someone else goes above 100 rigs, let me know

What mic(s) are you using? Have you tried using neutral-sounding, wide frequency response mics, instead of traditional guitar amp mics?
-
A "Talk Box" mic would be great for live use and recording, if it wouldn't require too many resources. It could work like a vocorder, and be a post amp filter. Maybe with a mix control, to balance with the regular rig sound.
-
You could try adjusting the gain, and see if that gives you what you want.
BUT - there are dozens of available Deluxe rigs, from squeaky clean to cranked.
Fire up Rig Manager, search for "delux", and listen to them on the Rig Exchange. You may find something with the right feel for your guitar, or something that just needs a tiny tweak.

If you set the Delay to the shortest possible value, with mix at 100%, and with Delay Ratio enabled, I think there will not be any "center" - just an extremely short delay on one side, and a slightly longer one on the other.
If it feels "off" at 100% mix, adding the center signal back in will tighten up the feel, and will sound a little more like three guitars, instead of two.

G String,
I think most (if not all) people add their User Name into Rig Manager BEFORE the Kemper is connected to it for the first time, per the installation instructions.
If Rig Manager can poll the name directly from the Kemper, can "author's name" be left blank?
-
The .kipr files are in a Temp file. BUT, if you want to, you can easily make a local directory copy - just drag and drop them out of the Rig Manager window into a Windows folder. There are around 14mb of them, and it takes just a couple of minutes to do.
-
Rig Manager makes it so much simpler to "quick audition" some rigs that I have not heard yet.
Thanks to EVERYONE who has posted rigs on the Rig Exchange.
And, an EXTRA thanks to the "OVER 100" Club for the time it took to make and post all these profiles:
r u sirius - 188
nakedzen - 151
Mark Hall - 115
Greg - 104The "over 50 rigs" list would be much longer - as would the "over 20 rigs" list. So many people - so many amps. We're VERY spoiled
And, also, an honorable mention to those of you who have made HUGE numbers of free rigs, effects presets, etc, available elsewhere.
-
Those 188 profiles took a LOT of time to do. Thanks!''

If you have a chance to A/B it with the Yamaha, let us know what you think. If you cannot hear it before buying one, a Yamaha is a safe bet. Most people say the DXR12 offers no sonic advantage over the DXR10. Both of them are considered to sound really good by a large number of people.
Here is a conversation thread that mentions both speakers: Acoustic Guitar Forum speakers discussion

Congrats on figuring it out!
Now, you can just play, and forget about it

Sounds great! I use strats more than I used to, also. Being in an '80s band likely has a lot to do with that;) But, my stage guitars have pickups that can keep up with my humbucker guitars when I use them live - Lace Sensors, clapton preamps, that sort of thing.
-
If they are the "Cab Only" files, they are Cabinet presets, not complete RIGS. That is why they are not being added.
-
Gotta love it when you launch Rig Manager, and the new uploads are automatically added
-
If you have purchased them, you can put them in your personal Rig Manager now.
A "Demo Mode" would require some kind of Copy Protection that would prevent someone from saving an auditioned rig that has not been purchased.
That may be a feature that is not currently included in concept for the evolution of the Kemper - I would much rather Kemper dedicate their limited resources to new features, instead of copy protection. We have some exotic (for guitarists) effects, already. I'd love to have more, and find musical uses for them
Note: This thought is offered as no offence to the Commercial Rig Providers - I've got NO problem with them. Who knows.... I may eventually be tempted offer some unusual Rigs to the community, too.
-
VERY nice! I love the optimistic and open feeling I get from this. Needless to say, it is very well played:)
On a more technical, composition level: I *really* like the unexpected (to me) chord changes at the end of the "B" section. They make this into an even more of a memorable piece of music. If you are not pursuing TV/film music, I think you should consider doing that.

VERY funny!

You're welcome
'I can see why it would be necessary to get the Rig out of the Rig Exchange list to be able to mark it as a Favorite - what is the point of having a Favorite that you haven't imported?
As an aside - all of the Rigs I have posted to the Rig Exchange display as Favorites in that view to me. That makes send to me - They were favorites, associated with my ID when I posted them.
