Maybe the LED under the pedal is loose...?

I like the White Chicken!
Anybody recognize my Swedish Eye chart? haha
My brother got it at Akia for me. Haven't the faintest idea why. But it makes a nice light that isn't too much but you can see the computer keyboard.
That was the first thing I noticed about your pic, haha!

As FW 2.8 is still an early beta and profiles made under 2.8 are structurally different than regular ones and don't work with older FWs, Kemper have decided to 'quarantine' 2.8 profiles from RM for the time being (as stated in the 2.8 announcement thread).

I did several tours with the FCB UnO4K, no troubles with the switches, worked perfectly. The 2 EXP-pdeals are not the best, but for the low price the FCB is unbeatable.
Of course the KFC will be better in handling and quality, but you'll need separate EXP-pedals and it will be expensive in the long run (nevertheless I'll buy one...).
Well, I find that with my FCB and Uno4Kemper, hitting two switches in quick succession causes it to 'jam', becoming unresponsive to anything unless you hit one of the two switches you hit previously (it varies which one). I have large feet, so it's not rare for me to accidentally hit two switches at once in the heat of battle. This makes the sticky behaviour very annoying when trying frantically to hit the right switch to unlock the thing again. I'm glad you've had a more successful experience. On the other hand, I've never had a problem with the expression pedals. Despite looking and feeling slightly flimsy, they've not let me down once.

ps I totally agree that for the price and convenience, the FCB/Uno4Kemper combo is unbeatable. Especially if you do the one cable mod
Depends how much it ends up costing. For me though, the switches on the FCB are rubbish. Sticky, spongy, semi-responsive rubbish. I'd MUCH rather have the switches on the Remote. The "wah" on the FCB is definitely handy, though.

I'm (soon to be) on the case!

Start with turning the noise gate on the input section all the way down to off. Disable any noise gates in the stomps. See if there's a difference.

Happy New Year!

Another thing is take breaks, give your ears a rest.
Great advice! Those in the know reckon that when doing any critical listening, you should take a 5 minute break for every 30 minutes!

Sam
The only difference in sound will be due to the handling of low frequencies. The 'new' Low Frequency Compensation feature can be turned off in the system menu, so any rigs profiled previous to LFC will sound the same as before.

Ahhh didn't realise the toaster and rack behaved differently in this respect. Thanks!

Unless you're going to be spending enough time in the studio that it'll sit semi-permanently in a rack OR you're touring with a big set up with road crew, I'd get the toaster. It's more portable and convenient in many ways. I kind of wish I'd got one instead of my Power Rack sometimes. Sometimes even to the point where I'm considering buying a second KPA in the form of an unpowered toaster... Much more convenient for noodling at home. My Power Rack sits out in the studio, but it's getting more and more difficult to get out there these days. Family life!

Yes! When can I give you my money?!?

@paults - The first pic is showing what is obviously an RJ45, but this recent pic is not an RJ45.
@HappyKemper - it does look like the face of the remote, but it doesn't look like a foot switch to me, when I zoom in, it appears to have 4 pin holes. Maybe I need more beer!
Great news on the foot controller but there's no way I'm going to pay more than 200€ for it.
I think (and hope) 200€ is a reasonable number... After all, it is still "only" a midi controller - correct me if i am totally wrong, but i would estimate the value of the parts (w/o knowing the device ) to be for sure and clearly below 50€.
Of course, for some strange reasons, devrlopment took 3 Years, but i still dont understand the numbers oft 600 dollars, that was circulating here...
Apart from the FCB, what midi controller goes for 200€ or less? Certainly none that have LCD and a looper on board...
