Great feel. Very cool.

Thanks for your input Keith. I've been using the avoim sys in the church band for about 6 years. When I got the Kemper bout a month ago I didn't want to sacrifice the tone of the Kemper thru the aviom. I've always felt I was playing in a box with aviom but when I used the headphone space on the Kemper I got spoiled and want to somehow go thru the Kemper and like you pointed out just have the other stuff in the aviom without my guitar. Tonite I hooked up a sound source to the Kemper into the aux input and selected the aux>headphone on the output. Problem it's not stereo so I was getting only one side on my headphones. Tell me a little more about your setup. I may have something around here that I can incorporate to make this thing work. Thanks. Steve

Any advise on hooking up Aviom thru Kemper? I really would like to use the headphone space and eq. Is this possible? Any tips?

Wow that sounds great!!' When I was around 18 I was really into Vai and his guitar playing. Just wish I could play like him

I guess I'll have to settle for his tone which is a good thing. -
Thanks for sending me that rig. One of the best and very little tweaking for my taste.

OK, so this is my latest version "Z"... improved on the overall tone, at least for me, and this means I almost finished the "weapons" at my disposal ...
I used a Jackson Soloist with a Seymour Duncan JB on the Bridge.Listen and try it, if you can...

Love that tone! Gotta have it. For some reason I can't download it so maybe you can put it on the exchange? Please? -
Kemper team you are awesome! I thought I was the only one with the muting tuner problem. haven't loaded it in yet but it will be by tomorrow. Can't wait to get RM going to do a proper cleaning. Thanks

Try setting the noise gate to zero...
I also found when loading either FW that the noise gate was almost all the way up. Didn't notice this at first so I discarded quite a few profiles because of the strange synth like sound. Not all the profiles were like this but most of the higher gains were. Think they were profiled that way or just an anomaly? -
Great song! Good guitar tone. I like it.
just loaded it. didn't have to edit, sounded great as is. Thanks..great job! -
Went back to 2.2 and everything sounds fine. Gonna wait till they get the bugs out of 2.3, but can't use the RM.

I also lost my favorites after update but I just restored the backup and they're all there. A good practice is to always backup.

Definitely quite a change in tone. Some spikey, trebly. Don't want to whine but just disappointed after spending much time dialing my tones then having to go back and do it all over again. Maybe I'll try a reset and see if it gets better.

Been using my HD500 for a couple of weeks now. Not only do I use it as a midi controller for the KPA but have my Variax JTV69 controlled by the HD.The HD is pretty easy to program but I have to say the wah never sounded so good.

Great !

Just got Till's profiles. most of them were great just out of the box. Just lowered the definition for my strat and sounded real good. The factory profiles in the Kemper are good but I find Till's profiles a step above. Thanks for all the work you put into the profiles and looking forward to the next batch..

Have the KPA a couple of weeks now and all of a sudden my headphones sounded overdriven on my clean channels. Sounded ok thru my FRFR monitor so I got on the net to find if anybody else was having this issue. Sorry if this has been covered already but all I've seen on the forum is there must be something wrong with your headphones. I got very frustrated because headphones are very important to keep peace on the home front. Gotta keep the wife happy. ;). Anyway thank you wiKPA! I found where one KPA user was having the same issue. I followed the instructions on wiKPA under "emergency" did a flash intialization and not only did it fix the headphone issue but all the rigs sounded so much cleaner and not overly processed. I'm a tweaker by nature and really thought I needed to tweak all the rigs to get them to sound good to my ears. After the flashing a lot of the factory rigs sounded really good with little or no tweaking. I'm a happy Kemper! I think I may have downloaded a rig that may have corrupted something and the flashing is designed to clean it out. Just my 2 cents. Maybe this can help someone.
