Yeah, it's tough to troubleshoot this blind.
A FOH recording so we can hear what Mr. Chips is hearing would surely be the go.

Welcome, Chris!
Mate, if you make the switch, you'll be joining a long line of defectors. I've counted about 8 in the last few weeks, and that's just the ones who've 'fessed up to it here.
Djemass' Mesa MkIIC Bud Spencer pack blanked out all my stack EQ readouts and functionality.
Bobbo's Petrucci tweak of, I think, profile 102, brought them back, but as soon as I switched to any profile from the original pack, they disappeared again.
Seems like a similar thing to what's going on here, no?
EDIT: Correction, it was the Hulk pack, which was later renamed as BS. Don't know if anything changed other than the name...
Thank you, wedewer!
Yes! Welcome back hAtul!
I don't know, nixxo... a JC120? Really?
IMHO, it's going to colour the sound as it already has a (clean, as you said) tone of its own. So, if you had the cab sim turned off when feeding the Roland, you'd have had Roland's cab only - not ideal IMHO.
If you did feed it with the cab sim on, the Roland's sound would still have been imprinted on everything. Not ideal either, IMHO.
If you didn't try a favourite stand-alone cab such as a 4x12 box (cab sim off) or a FRFR enclosure (cab sim on), you've completely missed out on the goodness that the Kemper has to offer you live... IMHO.
Could this be what's happened?
Either way, I'm sad to see anyone leave, especially 'cause he /she feels the Kemper couldn't cut it, 'cause it most certainly can and does. All the best mate, and hope to see you back soon!
The L6 JTV series does baritone pretty well, and you'd get a bunch of other guitar models that might otherwise sit around waiting to be used 95% of the time. Those 5%-usability figures accumulate in the case of the L6, and the price is great too, so IMHO you might want to consider this, Gary.
Obviously they're not HQ guitars build-wise, but they're not half bad and around the quality you'd expect for the price, even without the DSP.
Thanks everybody for your help.
I downgraded to Rig Manager 1.3.5 but it keeps giving the msg "Rig Manager needs to be updated. For more information, please point your browser to: http://www.kemperamps.com/start" so I am forced to upgrade my Rig Manager and, consequenty, my OS. I just hope that the new one hasn't big bugs.
Because I work with my profiles, I don't like to risk, I'll go for the System USB stick backup before upgrading.
Your help was really precius.
This community is unbelievable

I'm running RM 1.5.16 and OS 3.1.4.11421 with zero issues, so if I can run this with my OS you shouldn't have to update to 3.2.1.
If you're not there already, you may have to run the 3.1.4 version I'm using, but at least you'd be avoiding 3.3; that's after all what you're trying to do.
Yes, thank you geese_com; that's a relief mate.
Luckily, I was able to pop the top (the green cover secured by 6 screws) and gain access to the CR2032 battery, which was the culprit. A new CR2032 and my Kemper is working again like it should. I have NO clue as to why the battery isn't accessible from outside the unit, or as to why support would ask for the unit to be returned to simply change a battery, but if you get this error try replacing the battery first. Hope this helps someone with the same issue.
The Kemper Team™ has stated that this will void the warranty and that the unit should be returned for battery replacement. I doubt any batteries have run out yet as I'm guessing 7-10 years wouldn't be an unreasonable life expectancy.
For anyone who's already had a replacement done, I can't help but wonder whether something else was afoot.
Thank you Lasse!
Will keep an eye out for the link.
I've a feeling the Rig won't work for me 'though as I'm still on OS 3.1.4.11421.
Good luck with the gig, Jklotz!
Break a leg, but not your Kemper, mate.
Welcome Kassu!
Same here. Tiny bit loose whereas the rest are tight. Must be normal, mate.
Hey Spikey, thank you mate.
I've been waiting to see if anyone else has had any issues with the link 'cause I didn't want to appear to be looking a gift horse in the mouth. So far nothing happening here - just a blank page. I noticed you've edited the post since I first tried it, so... any hassles?
Just purchased your 4 guitar instructional packages and the new HYDRA profiles. Processed thru PayPal, received the links immediately. No problems here in the U.S.
Awesome profiles! Looking forward to learning some of your licks this weekend. You are an amazing player! Killer technique, tasty phrasing, great vibrato...the complete package! Plus your products are extremely affordable. Keep up the great work!
Now that's an endorsement!
Your playing blows me away, CFH, so as I said, it's a helluvan endorsement for Guido, who, let's face it, is the King of Tasty™ when it comes to rock.

ROFL!
@ckemper how about a WORLD CONVENTION of KEMPER users? 2017 in New York? Recklinghausen? Sydney? erhhh, yup, where?
Jungleville of course!
Beers would be on me. That'll bring 'em.
Thank you, Paul.
Same here.
I keep a "default" rig in there in order to be able to retain any locks that're in place. ATM, stomp slot 1 has a Kemper Default 1 wah set to heel-off locked in it.
